Vermont Granite Museum experienced a new Grand Opening after recent upgrades and a new Executive Director. Residents and visitors are impressed with the quality of new displays and artifacts that tells the story of the granite industry in Barre and surrounding communities. With new rest rooms, more floor space and renewed energy the number of visitors increased exponentially this last season. This 2015 season, it is expected there will be more visitors including busses as they will find this an excellent stop as they tour The Visitor Center at Rock of Ages and Hope Cemetery.
